Empty Bottle Returns Mississauga

In an attempt to reduce the environmental footprint of packaged beverages, the Province of Ontario has implemented a bottle recycle program with The Beer Store and other bulk return locations called Bag It Back. At Dial A Bottle 905 we are happy to assist with your empty bottle returns.

At a cost of 50% of the deposit value, your driver will pick up your empties upon delivery of your order. You can choose to receive your portion of the refund back as a cash payment, or it can be credited to the total cost of your order.


Ontario Deposit Return Program - Refund Amounts
(Eligible containers- glass bottles, plastic bottles, Tetra Pak containers, bag-in-box)

• Containers less than 100ml (Eg: Minis) -no deposit collected
• Containers greater than 100ml but less than 630ml and aluminum or steel containers less than 1L - 10¢
• Containers over 630ml and aluminum or steel containers over 1L - 20¢

For the purposes of Liquor Delivery 289, we only use 10¢ as the deposit value across the board for all returned items; regardless of container size or material.

Example: You have entered “Empties pickup” as a line in your order form and have an empty wine bottle (750ml), a mickey (375ml), and a 12 pack of beer bottles or cans. The total of the refund is as follows:

• Wine bottle (750ml)     -10¢
• Mickey (375ml)             -10¢
• 12 pack of beer             -12x10¢=$1.20
  
  Total Deposit Value: $1.40
  Less Pick up fee 50%: $0.70
  Total Refund Amount: $0.70
  
  You will receive 70¢ cash or credit to the cost of your order and the driver will keep the remaining 70¢ as their payment for the added service.
